What information do we collect, how do we collect it, and how do we use it?
Every computer connected to the Internet is given a domain name and a set of numbers that serve as that computer’s Internet Protocol or IP address. When a visitor visits our website, our web servers recognize the visitor’s IP address. The IP address reveals nothing personal about you other than the IP address from which you have accessed our site. We use this information to examine our traffic in aggregate, and to investigate possible misuse of our system, its users, or to cooperate with law enforcement.
If you are purchasing something from us, we need to know your Personal Information including first and last name, email address, mailing address, billing information, agency issued identification information, and phone number. This allows us to process and fulfill your order and to notify you of your order status. We may also use Personal Information to notify you of related products and services.
We use a shopping cart feature that safeguards your Personal Information by using industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encrypted servers. SSL codes the information transferred between you and the server, rendering it unreadable to anyone trying to intercept the information.
Personal Information gathered during purchases may be shared with Affiliates or Service Providers in order to maintain or service accounts, provide customer service, process or fulfill orders and transactions, verify customer information, process payments, provide advertising or marketing services, provide analytic services, improve the appearance and functionality of the website, or provide any other similar service. When you participate in a promotion, we may ask for your Personal Information so we can administer the promotion.
From time to time, we may use your Personal Information to send notifications of our products and services, or those of our Affiliates. You may receive information from our third party vendors who assist with the preparation of our materials and Affiliates’ mailings, but not non-affiliate third party advertisers. We do not share or sell your Personal Information with non-affiliate third party advertisers.
Will we disclose the information we collect to outside third parties?
We will disclose Personal Information and/or an IP address, when required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to:
Conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on us;
Protect and defend the rights or property of our company, or visitors to our website and related properties;
Identify persons who may be violating the law, our legal notices and website Terms of Service, the rights of third parties, or otherwise misusing our system or its related properties;
Cooperate with the investigations of purported unlawful activities.
We take reasonable precautions to keep Personal Information secure. We reserve the right to transfer all such Personal Information in connection with the sale of all or part of our company, or our Affiliates, licensors, or licensees. Furthermore, we are not responsible for any breach of security or for any actions of any third parties that receive the Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for such third party privacy policies or how they treat information about their users.
